The PAC-10 announced its conference honors today, and 4 members of Stanford’s men’s basketball program were named to the PAC-10′s various post-season teams. They are as follows:
- Junior G Jeremy Green: All-PAC-10 First Team
- Junior F/C Josh Owens: All-PAC-10 Honorable Mention
- Freshman G/F Anthony Brown: All-PAC-10 Freshman Team
- Freshman F Dwight Powell: All-PAC-10 Freshman Team
Stanford did not have any players selected for the all-conference defensive team.
Among other honorees, Arizona sophomore forward Derrick Williams won Player of the Year, Cal guard Allen Crabbe won Freshman of the Year, and Arizona head coach Sean Miller won Coach of the Year. USC’s Marcus Simmons and Washington’s Matthew Bryan-Amaning rounded out the individual awards with Defensive Player of the Year and Most Improved Player, respectively.
Stanford’s last PAC-10 Player of the Year was Josh Childress, who won the award in 2004. Trent Johnson last won the Coach of the Year award for Stanford in 2008.
