Sure enough, the conference’s slate of games just did not end up as expected. That’s what we’ve come to expect in the 2010 PAC-10, and in almost every football conference this season. Still, 4 of the 5 favorites prevailed, and UCLA needed home-field advantage and a last-second field goal by senior Kai Forbath to clinch the upset of Oregon State in Pasadena. Even with a poor showing at home against Washington, Oregon had no trouble taking care of the Huskies and staying at #1 in the conference, while Stanford’s domination of #13 Arizona solidified the Card’s place in the PAC-10 #2 spot.
