So, we are the Daily Axe, which would lead any logical reader to conclude that we publish daily. We do. A mixture of summer vacation and a slow news week led us to be remiss in our publishing duties this Thursday and Friday. We sincerely apologize. (You tell us how sarcastic this paragraph is. It’s up to interpretation.)

Tonight, we give you a brief post that points out what should be a good laugh. Frequent patrons of probably noticed that the football suits began offering a “What’s Your Deal?” ticket package this week. For either $85 or $95, you get a ticket to the USC game on October 9th and to two other home football games during the 2010 season. Why USC? Well, check out this video if you have no memory for great moments in Stanford football or for reasons why any God-fearing American should love Jim Harbaugh. (Why do we link to Harbaugh’s Twitter feed? Read a few of his tweets and you’ll understand.)

So our hat is off to you, football suits. You are literally making money off telling USC to suck it.
