For those of you who leave the Summer of LeBron longing for the money-free innocence of college basketball (well, unless you’re a USC, Memphis, or Kentucky fan), we have a bit of an early treat. Sure, everyone is gearing up for football at this point in the summer, but it’s never too early to look forward to hoops on the Farm. The Stanford men bring in the PAC-10′s highest-rated recruiting class, and it’s topped by a 6′ 9″ stud from the southeast.

Today, we point you toward some information on soon-to-be freshman forward Dwight Powell from IMG Academy in Florida. The top-25 and 5-star high school recruit figures to get a lot of minutes this year for the Card, which is coming off a mediocre season and lost its leading scorer and on-court leader, senior Landry Fields, to graduation and the NBA.
